Score-driven clip assembly from the catalogue. Top-scoring chapters are auto-sequenced into a rough timeline with silence trimmed and transitions placed. Output is an EDL ready for DaVinci Resolve import.
The rough cut engine takes the scored catalogue as input and assembles clips by editorial score. Chapters scoring above a configurable threshold are sequenced in narrative order. Silence gaps are auto-trimmed using the silence detection data. The output is an Edit Decision List (EDL) that imports directly into Resolve.
The rough cut stage sits downstream of four completed pipeline stages. All prerequisite data — transcriptions, chapters, scores, and silence maps — is already available in the catalogue.
