In 2015 I presented the worlds’ first full-length live VR theater show “Eccentricon,” using the first consumer mobile headset, GearVR. It used a combination of custom Unity apps, 360 films and animation. where the audience and actors wore a headset, the POV of which was projected onstage. It was presented by the 360 content company Jaunt VR and and as a national theatre tour. The video here is a 360 “trailer” of a sample of the interactivity of the show, to view the video in 360, click on it and drag your mouse in the direction you wish to look.
As part of an interactive installation for festivals, I directed and created an 360 VR experience combining animated film in the Gear VR with a troupe of performers involving interactivity between VR and IRL experiences.
