I created a VR theater company of experienced VR actors for the immersive VR theater show “OffRail,” and won the “Best Performance” award at the FIVARS film festival and the runner-up for “Best Debut” award at the Raindance Film festival. It was presented in 2022 as a parody of AI theme parks and presented three interweaving storylines the audience could join to decide the fate of humanity.

I was lead actor and UI consultant for Adventure Lab, a VR game company with an “uber for actors” model for employing live hosts. I collaborated with the executive and engineering team from Meta Horizon and Pixar and director Jennine Willet from Third Rail Projects immersive theatre company to develop their performing system, gave hundreds of demos and interactive performers, and trained new performers in the unique skillset of interactive live performing.

As CEO of Raktor, my team joined the first startup accelerator to accept VR companies, and I developed tools for creators to make live broadcasts using VR as a production studio. It involved:

1) Kinect depth camera for motion capture of performers

2) VR tools for effect cueing, set changing, and interaction management

3) Mixed Reality streaming broadcast w/ chat interaction to facebook live

4) Audience member chosen as VR player voted by people in the IRL studio

5) Stream chat audience members cast as NPC characters in VR/MR
