From my contracts commissioned by Phillip Rosedale (creator of second life) for his sociaIVR startup High Fidelity, I was hired as developer and educator for THERA, a company building live VR sessions demoing at SXSW. This demo was a test of building out worlds for pediatric and veteran patients.

This prototype was built in VRchat when our main platform High Fidelity closed, it was demoed at the American Psychiatric Association conference (on the Oculus go, it was a month before the Quest released). It was recreated for the Oculus Quest 1 and debuted at the VMed conference at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles

The CEO of THERA introduced me to Skip Rizzo PhD, who gained notoriety from his work treating PTSD in veterans with VR immersion therapy. Since then I have continued to work on developing face tracking sensitivity in VR headsets with therapy in mind. My current projects involve using archival photos to re-create 3d environments in order to develop private therapy sessions using XR recreations of memories that can be explored VR with a therapist.
